It's Ok Thursday!



This week its ok to...

...have some feelings of frustration with my students parents! Why is it so hard to walk three blocks to an IEP meeting?...


...to be a bit nervous about my first giveaway and guest post but an excited nervous...

...bake cookies and eat  90% of them alone...

...to drink almost a whole box of chai this week...

...to drink milkshakes when i have a cold..what it makes me feel better?!...

...to even though i know blogging is not about the number of followers still refresh my page to check and do a happy dance when i get new ones!...

...to maybe have checked durring work on my phone and done a random happy dance in the classroom(yes i got an od look from the kiddoes & teacher)...

...to have eated all the cookies my love packed in my lunch today but only most of the other stuff( i needed all that tummy room for cookies!) he did bake them fresh and they had oats!...

...to instantly switch to my cozy sweats/pjs when i get home from work even though i have to run errands later...

...to not always pick up the phone when mom calls to catch up(sometimes i just dont feel like chatting for and hr)...

...to mess up singing YMCA with the kids at school...

...to not have tomorrows post written yet...

There is nothing better than milkshakes when you are sick; they always make me feel better!!

First of all, thank you for the congratulations! I am really excited to start a new chapter in my life!

I'm not going to lie, it is definitely not always easy to live with my future in-laws. They operate more of a family (do more things together) than what I'm used to. Honestly, when I lived at home with my family in high school, it was like four different people just living together. It has definitely been a learning curve to live with them and there are times that I still want to pull my hair out. I still feel like I can't express my opinions on things and that has made it much harder on me, but luckily Tom understands and is a good listener when I need to vent, which isn't too often!
